a nice stay
helpful tips hiking poles delicious dinners
the staff offered helpful tips about local attractions! i borrowed hiking poles from the hotel, a great perk. the dinners were a great value, and i especially loved the starters and desserts.
The room was not very modern. The shower was small.

The staff provided a lot of useful information about the surrounding area upon check in. The breakfast included many options, saving time during my trip. I found the rooms clean upon arrival.

The hotel staff were helpful. I received detailed information about local trails. The included breakfast had variety. The cross-breeze was nice (windows exist on two walls).
The shower was a bit tiny. This was inconvenient (I am a tall person).

I did have a couple of minor gripes, I guess. First, the soundproofing wasn't great. I could hear everything happening in the hallway. It sounded like a herd of elephants was stampeding past my door all night. Second, the wi-fi was spotty. I mean, it worked sometimes, but other times it was slower than dial-up. Streaming videos? Forget about it. Checking emails? Prepare to wait. Updating social media? Might as well send a carrier pigeon.

wonderful stay in mountains
warm welcome coffee machine snack availability direct hikes
i appreciated the warm welcome from the staff upon arrival. the hotel featured a COFFEE machine and snacks AVAILABLE ANY time. i found several hikes accessible directly from the hotel, and no train or cable car was necessary.
my room did not have air conditioning, so i had to keep the windows open.

every staff member i met was friendly and gracious. the staff was helpful with daily itinerary options BASED ON weather. they are very knowledgeable AND well-traveled.
